Uplifting Sympathy Card

It’s here already… the end of the week. This week I was able to step into my crafting space and enjoy the creating process. This was my last card of the week. It was the hardest for me by far. My father passed away recently, and this card is for him. My father loved to fish. He also was a very private/ self protective man due to unfortunate hard circumstances when he was growing up. I was blessed immensely to see his last moments as he opened his eyes when God called his name, looking toward heaven as his spirit left him. The sentiments on this card hold so much weight for me. Jesus is all the sentiments that this card holds. He is faithful and true. I can only imagine at that last moment when Jesus called his name, my dad ran to him, finally being freed from the emotional hurt and damage if his former years. What a glorious memory I have etched in my head.

I used the Moon stencil from the December 2023 Whit Kit, the mirror image stamp for the boat is from the Sail With no Limits set, the background is the Faithful letter bg stamp, the Itty Bitty Almighty God stamp and the I Will Never Leave You stamp set by Phillis Harris.

I pray your day is full of peace and that the weekend brings joy to your soul.
